Teaching Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in different contexts. Most recently, I was a Sessional Instructor at McMaster University (2016–2021), where I taught introductory courses on peace studies, conflict resolution, and human rights and advanced courses on the philosophy of law and international law and ecology. My quantitative evaluations attest to my effectiveness in the classroom. Moreover, I received the Department of Philosophy’s first Ph.D. Instructor Award for my teaching performance. In Colombia, I taught courses on legal theory, legal reasoning, legal research, and torts at the Universidad de San Buenaventura (2008–2010) and Fundación Universitaria Tecnológico Comfenalco (online, 2019). During the winter 2022 term, I will be an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, teaching dispute resolution and international human rights law.
